A major Cable company has contacted the Upper Manhattan Workforce1 Career Center to help them recruit qualified Customer Service Representatives for their busy customer service billing center in Queens.
Customer Service Representatives provide quality service to customers via phone-in support of the cable, high speed and digital phone products and services in a call center environment.




Duties Include:



* Handle routine service calls and answer billing questions.

* Initiate upgrade and downgrade service for existing customers.

* Process customer payments and solve customer problems.

* Identify opportunities to engage customers into new products and services.





Education



* High school diploma or (GED) necessary.

* College degree (Associates or Bachelors) preferred.





Experience



* One year customer contact or call center customer service required.

* Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment.

* Sales/Customer focus oriented and results driven individual strongly preferred.

* Strong computer skills and database navigation.

* Excellent communication, analytical and decision making skills.
